During his pursuit to become an oral surgeon, Dr. Zambrano challenged the National Dental Board part I examination in which he obtained the highest score in his class- a 90th percentile score. This score was from a scaled comparison across all the United States dental school students. The combination of an exceptional score, dental school ranking, surgical externships (University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and Louisiana State University Health and Sciences), garnered Dr. Zambrano admission into the highly competitive specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
